Final two screenings of short films from the In Their Words: Stories from the Gatineau Valley series

June 6 and 7 2026
The final two screenings of short films from the In Their Words: Stories from the Gatineau Valley series are just around the corner!
Join us on June 6th at 4pm at the Gendron Covered Bridge to celebrate National Trails Day with A Life on the Trails, a film about Ken Bouchard made by Elizabeth Logue & Brian Bell.

Then on June 7th at 2:30pm in the barn at the Fairbairn House Heritage Centre, as part of the Mutual Hills Fair, catch Activist for Peace, Justice and Environment, a portrait of Ilse Turnsen made by Toby Sanger.

Both films were made in collaboration with award-winning documentary filmmaker Conor Devries.

Can’t make the screenings? No worries, all 5 films will be playing on a loop at the Fairbairn House Heritage Centre and on our website from June 20th until we close in October!
