Bringing Birth Home: Film Screening & Panel Discussion

In conjunction with the exhibit “Bringing Birth Home: A History of Birth and Midwives in the Gatineau Valley”

Join us for a special screening of the documentary accompanying our current exhibit, followed by a panel discussion with the women who lived and shaped this history. Hear firsthand accounts from Teresa Bandrowska and Jasmine Chatelain, two midwives featured in the film, alongside Gillian Prouse and Tina Therrien, both co-directors of the documentary.

Together, they’ll share stories of births and midwifery related to the Gatineau Valley.

Refreshments and light snacks will be served.
