The Fairbairn House Heritage Centre and the Gatineau Valley Historical Society are pleased to announce the creation of the Norma Geggie Research Centre.

Located on the second floor of Fairbairn House, this new facility will bring together archival and library resources, computer terminals, and free online genealogical services. It will be open to local researchers and museum visitors who wish to explore the Gatineau Valley’s rich history and stories.

Over time, the Norma Geggie Centre will also become a space for workshops, expert talks, and the formation of a local genealogical association.

Please join the GVHS, FHHC, and members of the Geggie family for an official opening reception on September 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fairbairn House.
